Color Inspector v21.0
iPhone rear-camera inspection · Manual capture
Keep the complete mark inside the blue box, with a little rubber visible around it. Small and Long change the starting box size; drag and resize anytime.
Lower = includes more pale paint. Higher = stricter. Keep the inspection box around one mark with some dark rubber visible.
Move the blue box over the colored area. Drag the round corner to resize it. In paint mode, dark rubber is filtered using color and local contrast. Keep the colored mark somewhere inside the blue box. No tapping required. Keep one mark and some surrounding dark rubber inside the blue box. The app finds the mark automatically, including smeared white paint.
Preview: green pixels were measured. For white, check that green covers the white edge and gray smeared center, not a reflection. If it selects rubber or another reflection, make the blue box smaller or adjust lighting.
Teach GOOD and BAD examples
Select a color. Teach up to 5 GOOD examples (including thin/smeared paint) and 5 BAD examples (rubber, glare, or misleading colors). GOOD uses the green detected mark. BAD samples the entire blue box; fill it with the unwanted material. Check each preview before saving.
If the best and second-best colors are too similar, report UNCERTAIN instead of guessing.
Lower is stricter. The app rejects an unrecognized color rather than guessing when the closest calibration is outside this limit. This is a starting value, not a validated production tolerance.
